Oklahoma Farm Bureau is proud to host the Flapjack Fundraiser at its annual meeting on Nov. 14 at 7:30 a.m. in the Cox Convention Center.
Proceeds from the breakfast will go to the Bushels for Books Program, a partnership between the Oklahoma Farming and Ranching Foundation and the OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers. The program will provide bushel baskets full of accurate agriculture books to teachers from five Oklahoma schools.
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased during the reception immediately following the opening session, at the Foundation’s booth in the trade show, and outside the breakfast Saturday morning. Knives with the Farm Bureau logo will also be available for an additional $5 donation.
Thanks to the OKFB Women’s Leadership Team and Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom, each school will also receive a specialty ‘Cropopoly’ game along with the books. Winners are selected by application, and each school will receive one free book just for applying.
