As Americans continue to become further removed from agriculture, the general public relies on animal rights activists, environmental groups and uninformed media to shape their attitude toward agriculture. As a result, there are numerous misconceptions about what happens inside the farm gate. We have an opportunity to change the face of agriculture. It is time for agriculturalists to step up and tell their story – the true story. If we do not, no one will.
